My love for winemaking begain in 1999 when we planted our first 7 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon in the Southern Monterey County. I've competed in Int Wine Competition as a amateur winemaker with Syrah recieving a SILVER out of 35 other states.

"Hi Donna! Nothing "new" persay. I did spends some time Sunday in Manton-- tasted at Fred and Donna's and picked up my shipment, then headed over to Ringtail to taste and enjoy their weekend catering. It's so much cooler up there-- it was nice. Today was "wine wednesday" at both Market Street wines and Rivers. I opted to meet friends at Market street, since we had one of their wed coupons for a free fruit and cheese plate w? your wine order. I'd like to do Rivers next wed- 3 tastes for 3$"
"Hi Lisa how is your summer going ??
Been out and about to any new wineries ?"
"Thanks, Donna! We had an absolutely wonderful time, and had so much fun meeting so many nice people. I'm looking forward to the little workshop on the 24th. John is funny!"
"It was great meeting with you at our Annual WINE LOVERS PICNIC.... Hope you enjoyed yourself.. Lots of neat people."
"Welcome Alan, yes the North State is starting to provide many aspects for the "WINE ENTHUSIASTS". The Shasta Cascade Viticulture Association is a Viticulture group that strives to educate the importance of our agriculture. you can visit that page at : www.shastacascadeviticultureassociation.org and there is a facebook connection there as well. We look forward to hearing your ideas."
"Oh Donna, that would be great! I was thinking I'd either do a kit, or maybe get some merlot grapes from Albert & mary @ Churn Creek Meadows organic farm, from where I currently have my produce delivered. I'm thinking of starting with a red. I'll be at Cinco de Wino this wknd. Are you Indian Peak? Same Donna? If so, this is Lisa (Shayli's teacher) from Redding. I think I talked to you and Fred once, about gleaning.
At any rate, It's a scary plunge for me, as all I have is a book and a dvd!"
"Hi Lisa, I will be more than happy to help you. 1) were are you getting your fruit this year ? 2) what varietal of wine do you want to make RED or WHITE ? contact me at Morris Estate Vineyards ~ [masked]"
