Igo Inn Wine Tasting and Art Hanging
Join NCWE member Chris Bennor and her husband, chef Rich Buck, and a number of their friends at a pre-opening casual party at their new dinnerhouse and pub, The Igo Inn, just west of Redding.
It starts at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 26th. Guests will be put to work hanging collection of eclectic art (ok, yard sale finds) on the restaurant walls. Afterwards, several local wineries will be on hand to offer tastings. The feedback from the guests will help determine which wines make the restaurant's future wine list. Light appetizers will be served.
Directions to the Igo Inn are:
Placer Road West 12 miles to Igo. Easy!

Michelle+1 guestWhat a fabulous event! Hanging the art work was just plain fun and the food was fantastic. There were 59 wines on the list to sample from and Burnsini brought some standout write-ins to put the total over 60 wines. Their petite sirah was sublime and my favorite wine there. The menu for the Igo Inn looks very tasty and we can't wait for the opening next month so that we can go back up there. This is a charming establishment and well worth the meandering drive out Placer.
